How to Capture Reddit Conversations and Subreddit Threads

SocialClipper supports direct single-click parsing for standalone Reddit discussion/comment threads. Ensure the browser URL matches this pattern before clicking the extension:

Note on Feed Pages: Subreddit indices (like reddit.com/r/USCIS/) or the homepage feed are not comment-level targets. Clicking the extension icon on a feed page automatically opens our Smart Helper Bar in capture.html showing custom guides. You can close it instantly with the top-right close "X" button.
Step-by-Step Curation Guide
Open a Dedicated Comments Thread
Click into the specific post conversation to open its comment page. For example, open a post thread like https://www.reddit.com/r/USCIS/comments/1tphjo8/... in your browser.

Click the SocialClipper companion icon in your browser toolbar. The tool dynamically parses the Shreddit-post body, original markdown text, nested authors, and upvote ratio cleanly.
Preview & Add Curation Labels in capture.html
Review the parsed markdown preview inside capture.html (hyperlinks are rendered into rich clickable tags). Select or type custom tags like #immigration or #community in the selector box and save it to sync to your dashboard.

To guarantee your bookmarked collections remain entirely secure, SocialClipper uses an advanced Alphanumeric Hashed Post ID engine.
