YouTube money calculator
Estimate AdSense earnings from views and niche. Everything is calculated in your browser, and the result is a range — because the real number is one too.
Estimated earnings
$165 – $550
Based on an RPM of $3–$10 per 1,000 monetized views for education & how-to.
100,000 views × 55% monetized
= 55,000 monetized views
RPM is not CPM
CPM is what an advertiser pays per thousand impressions. RPM is what lands in your account per thousand views, after YouTube takes its 45% and after the views that never showed an ad. RPM is roughly a third to a half of CPM, and it is the only one worth planning around. The figures above are RPM.
Why a range
The same video earns very different amounts depending on where the audience is (US and UK views pay several times what many other markets do), what time of year it is (Q4 ad budgets push RPM far above January), how long people watch, and how many run ad blockers. Any single number you see quoted for this is an average dressed up as a fact.
Ranges are industry-typical bands compiled from publicly reported creator figures, last reviewed August 2026. They are a sanity check, not a forecast — and AdSense is usually a minority of a working channel's income anyway, behind sponsorships and products.
