Senja vs SocialClipper: Which Testimonial Tool Fits?
Senja vs SocialClipper, honestly: Senja collects testimonials, SocialClipper captures praise people have already posted on social media. What each does, what each costs, and when Senja (or Testimonial.to) is the better pick.
If you are looking for a way to put testimonials on your site, Senja is one of the first tools you will find, along with Testimonial.to. Both are mature products built for exactly that job. SocialClipper overlaps with them on one part of it, so this page tries to be clear about where the overlap ends, because it ends quite early.
Senja and Testimonial.to figures below were checked against their public pricing pages on 13 October 2026. Pricing changes; if anything here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it, and check their pricing pages before you decide.
The short version
Senja is a testimonial collection platform. It sends forms and invites to your customers, records video testimonials, imports reviews from other sites, and turns all of it into widgets and walls. If you need to ask customers for testimonials, Senja (or Testimonial.to) is the right kind of tool and SocialClipper is not.
SocialClipper is a library for social posts. You save whole posts from X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube with a browser extension, and on Premium you can publish a tag as an embeddable wall. It only works with praise that already exists in public. It sends no forms and records no video.
Pricing
| SocialClipper | Senja | |
|---|---|---|
| Free plan | Unlimited saving on your own device; no walls | Up to 15 text and video testimonials, unlimited widgets and walls, Senja branding |
| Paid | Premium, $4.99/mo | Starter $29/mo, Pro $59/mo (yearly billing advertised as two months free) |
| Branding on embeds | “Powered by SocialClipper” badge on every wall | Senja branding on Free; paid plans add your own Brand Kit |
| Account to try it | Not needed to save posts; needed for Premium | Required |
The prices are not really comparable, because the products are not doing the same work. Senja’s paid plans pay for a collection workflow, team seats and integrations. Ours pays for cloud sync and serving a wall.
Where Senja is genuinely better
- Collecting testimonials. Simple or multistep forms, individual or bulk invites with follow-ups and tracking. This is the core of Senja and we have nothing like it.
- Video testimonials. Customers can record video through Senja’s forms. SocialClipper can save a video that someone already posted, but it cannot ask anyone for one.
- Imports from review sites. Senja imports from a long list of social and review sites; its FAQ names X, Facebook, Google, Capterra and Trustpilot among them. We cover six social platforms and no review sites.
- More widget types and extras. 20+ widget templates, analytics, case study generation, Zapier, an API and webhooks on paid plans, and rich snippets for search star ratings on Pro. Our walls have four layouts and two themes.
- A useful free tier for walls. Senja lets you publish walls on the free plan, up to its 15-testimonial limit. Publishing a SocialClipper wall needs Premium.
- Teams. Seats, projects and team access are built into Senja’s plans. SocialClipper is a single-person library.
Where SocialClipper is different
- Capture while you browse. When someone posts about you, you click the extension on that post and the whole thing is saved: text, images, video, author name and avatar. No copying URLs into a dashboard.
- Platforms collection tools tend to skip. Reddit threads, TikTok videos and YouTube are often where the most detailed praise lives, and they save the same way as an X post.
- It is also your bookmark library. The same extension saves anything worth keeping, not just testimonials, with tags, notes, search, and export to JSON, CSV or Markdown. Your assistant can search it too, through our MCP endpoint for Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.
- Inline rendering. The wall renders in your page’s own HTML rather than an iframe, so the words people wrote about you are readable as part of your page. There is an iframe fallback for hosts that block scripts.
- Price. $4.99 a month, if social posts are all you need on the wall.
What about Testimonial.to?
Testimonial.to is in the same category as Senja: a collection tool first, with text and video testimonials, a public testimonial page and Wall of Love widgets. Its free plan covers 2 video and 10 text testimonials and includes unlimited imports from X and LinkedIn. Paid plans start at $25/mo (Starter) and go up through Ultimate ($50/mo per space) and Ultimate + ($95/mo per space), with Enterprise priced on request.
Everything said above about Senja applies here too. If you need to collect testimonials, especially video, it is a better fit than SocialClipper, and which of Testimonial.to or Senja suits you is mostly about which pricing shape fits your volume. Check their pricing page for the current limits on each plan.
You might use both
These are not mutually exclusive. A common shape: a collection tool for the customers you ask directly, and SocialClipper for the unprompted posts you come across on X, Reddit or LinkedIn. You could even put both on the same page, the collected quotes in one section and the public posts in another.
Which should you pick?
Choose Senja (or Testimonial.to) if you need to request testimonials from customers, want video testimonials, want to pull in reviews from sites like Google or Capterra, need team seats, or want a free wall to start with.
Choose SocialClipper if your best social proof is already sitting in public on X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, you want to capture it in one click while you browse, and you would also like a searchable library of everything else you save.
Saving posts in SocialClipper is free with no account, so you can clip the praise you already have and see whether there is enough of it for a wall before paying for anything. If there is not, that is a good sign you need a collection tool first. See how walls work, or read how to embed social media testimonials on your website.
